Now that the software industry is a key part and parcel of the world economy I believe it would be a good idea to establish/legalize “ Best-Before date for Software” as an effective instrument for doping the economic growth. What I am suggesting is that any piece of software has now a Best-Before date of say 18 months from the first use and to grant the software firms the possibility to remotely and gradually spoil their SW products from the date for lapsing in order to massively encourage updates. Again, what makes me more than happy is regulation …!… for example, I would prefer to be forced to migrate on Microsoft
